CONNET Classification Navigation and Selection

<body> This tool will help find appropriate classification codes either by navigation through the classification structure or text search. Currently only UNICLASS and Building-90 are catered for but the system is extensible to others such as CISfB, EPIC and any others required. There are three basic functionalities of the tool: Navigation: The initial screen lists the top-level tables names within the chosen classification system. The user can expand a heading to obtain the sub-headings. In this way the user can navigate around the hierarchy. Go To Code: The user can enter a code or partial code and the tool will jump to that part of the hierachy. Match Text: The user enters text and the tool will return all codes containing these words. Synonyms: Synonyms may be added to the search string by the use of the synonyms radio button. Currently there is a choice between two thesauri: Wordnet. This is an English language thesaurus. CTCST. Canadian Thesaurus of Construction Science and Technology. This is a construction thesaurus. </body>
