The operation of the Material Information Exchange was handed over to the Salvo Partnership whose new MIE site is at http://www.salvomie.co.uk.

This site will continue to operate until 30 September 2003 but is no longer accepting new entries, if you wish to make a new entry you should go to the new Salvo MIE and enter your information there.

This exchange allows the construction industry to buy and sell used, second hand and un-utilised construction materials over the Internet. There are four parts to the system:

• Unutilised Stock
  Over-ordered and unused stock for sale.
  • Search for unutilised stock

• The materials wanted board
  A list of materials wanted.
  • View the wanted board

• Upcoming Demolitions
  A list of upcoming demolitions around the UK.
  • View the demolition list
